I am a proud product of Dixon Unified schools. I attended Silveyville Primary, Anderson Elementary, CA Jacobs, and, of course, Dixon High School! Upon graduation in 1997, I enrolled at the University of Notre Dame. I graduated there in 2001, and began teaching at Dixon High School that fall. I later earned my teaching credential and Master's degree from UC Davis.
I taught English at Dixon High School from 2001-2003, and from 2004-2009. In 2009 I was hired as an Assistant Principal at Dixon High School, a role I filled until I became Principal in the Fall of 2012.
I come from a teaching family. My mom, Susan, taught elementary school in Dixon Unified for over 20 years, and was a principal and administrator in DUSD to wrap up her career. My wife, Phoebe, and I taught English together at Dixon High School. She is currently the Human Resources Coordinator for Dixon Unified.
I have two children, Henry and Iris, who keep me busy and entertained when I'm out of school.
I love Dixon High School, and I plan to keep working with its students, staff, and community for many years to come. Go Rams!
