Seniors:  Are you planning to attend Sac City College in the fall?  You need to apply for admission at www.scc.losrios.edu and attend one of the “Senior Saturday” orientation sessions planned specifically for seniors on Saturday, April 10 or Saturday, May 8.  These events will offer you the opportunity to complete in one day all steps in the “Getting-in” process at SCC.  From New Student Orientation to Assessment Testing to Course Advising Workshops with SCC Counselors, the students who successfully participate in a Senior Saturday even will have everything they need for a successful start at Sac City College.          03-23

Congratulations to the Science Bowl team for proudly representing Dixon High at the 20th Annual Regional Science Bowl this past Saturday. Jeffrey Sparks, Ellen Campbell, Nyssa Gilreath, Sydnie Lawrence, and Austin Knapp smashed the competition in Round Robin play in the morning, then went on to the Third Round in the Double Elimination competition in the afternoon.  Good job team!            03-09

Dixon High School,  Thank you so much for your participation and donations for RED CROSS HAITI.  The grand total was $703 which is awesome!  A total of 16 classrooms gathered pennies, nickels, dimes, and dollars.  Your efforts are truly appreciated.  No donation was too small. Your support will help those most in need in Haiti.  Dixon High School comes through for those in need.                   03-02

Students, if you drive to school please listen carefully.  Effective Monday, March 1st, you will not be allowed to park in the south parking lot in front of the school offices and gyms during school hours.  This parking lot is strictly reserved for faculty, staff, and visitors during school hours from 7am – 3pm.  If you park here your car will be towed away at your expense.  Please park in the student parking lot on the west side of campus.  Also if you did not know, you must register your vehicle with the school and obtain a parking permit at no cost from Mrs. Echeverria in the administration office.  The parking permit must be visible in your car when parked at school.  Thank you.
